Pretty self explanatory lol.
Doses
Just took 1mg sub
2mgs kpins
25-50mgs of topamax...50mgs if it is in fact safe to do.

Thanks ppl :)

1mg sub, not more or my belly hurts a lot :(
I haven't taken kpins or any other benzo in the last seven months, so I guess no tolerance lol. Which I only took 1mg of kpin so far after thinking about that.
And the topamax, I usually always take 50mgs at night before bed, been on it steadily for about a month now.

Ok so if you are used to taking 1mg Sub and 50mg topiramate (Topamax) then the unknown factor is the clonazepam (Klonipin) and how it will affect/potentiate the other drugs. Exactly how much of each drug have you already taken? And how are you feeling?

The possible risk of combining these 3 drugs is that central nervous system and respiratory-depressant effects may be increased when one takes multiple drugs that cause these effects. When a person is tolerant to Suboxone it is usually ok for them to take low to normal doses of benzodiazepines, but with the topiramate in there as well that might increase the risks, I'm not entirely sure how much since you are tolerant to it as well. The initial dose of clonazepam for anxiety is usually 0.25 mg 2x a day and the the initial dose for seizures is 0.5 mg 3x a day. So if you've already taken 1mg of the clonazepam maybe don't take any more than that.

Yeah, I'm feeling pretty nice. I've taken the sub and one mg kpin, feels good. Don't want to take another kpin. And I got rxd 1mg kpins for nocturnal epilepsy, which they aren't sure I have, but the dr is trying me on this before sending me off to a neurologist for a sleep study.

Oh I see, is the doctor who prescribed the clonazepam aware that you are on Suboxone and topiramate? And did he/she say anything like do not take more than 1mg of the clonazepam per day?

Personally I would not be impressed if my doctor prescribed me a highly dependence-causing drug for a disorder he wasn't even sure I had. And aren't non-benzo anticonvulsants usually the first line of treatment for nocturnal epilepsy? I would definitely go for a sleep study if at all possible.

Something else to consider: did you have the symptoms before you started the bupe or before you started taking opioids in general?

I'm not rxd suboxone, just use it recreactionally and when I'm in a lot of pain.
And I don't think he was aware I'm on topamax as it was rxd fairly recently. And he said to try the klonopin to see if it helps muscle excitablity first.
Tonight the kpin definitely eased my rls, but now that my bf doesn't sleep with me anymore due to my episodes at night keeping him up, I'm not all too aware if its helping or not. So I'm definitely going to push for the sleep study.
But yes, this has been going on long before any medications. Perhaps medications made it worse over the last couple of years. But like I said my bf is the first person I've actually regularly shared a bed with, so I'm not entirely sure of if its gotten worse or not.

The reason I asked is because I have similar problems (plus I have other issues with sleep, not diagnosed with anything yet although I've done a bunch of tests, they've ruled out sleep apnea and a couple other things so far), and I'm pretty sure the sleep movements got a lot worse from me being on drugs such as methadone. It seems to have improved a lot now that I'm on a super low dose (down to 4mg now) and not taking any other drugs. My boyfriend says he doesn't even notice me moving around in my sleep anymore and no longer has to rearrange my arm or leg that is kicking him or sticking straight up in the air. Things like RLS and tremors can also be caused or worsened by opioid and benzo withdrawal so that's something to keep in mind as well. I hope you can get a sleep study soon :)

Yes me too, and I sympathize with you and the sleep issues and the bfs having to deal with our erratic behaviors lol
I just sometimes feel so helpless and hopeless that I don't even wanna deal with my health isues and just let everything kill me, but I always keep m son in mind and he keeps me going :)
Ugh idk.
Btw, don't feel like starting a new thread, but I took 3mgs of kpins tonight and 25mgs of topamax. That's alright and safe and such, right?

Depends how the clonazepam affects you, but if you aren't taking the bupe and have halved your usual topamax dose (which you have a tolerance to) it probably shouldn't be too much riskier than taking 3mg clonazepam on its own. Can't make any guarantees though.
