Got paid more than I expected to from work this month so I decided to treat myself :) What with the winter clawing at the door, thought I could do with one of these to keep the chill out:

Sorry about the huuuuge picture, it was the only one they had.

I'm needing a new pair of trainers, current pair are manky as fuck. Thinking maybe Converse this time round.

Converse are comfortable, but they're not the most comfortable runners I've worn. What converse lack in comfort they make up for in durability. I dislike the fact how on any given day in town, most people are actually wearing them - but fuck it, may aswell wear them out.

Adidas Superstars: Now thats comfort. Preferably black with the white toe-cap. Emm, yummers.

I don't actually think Converse are durable, they fall to pieces quite quickly. I ruined my last pair in around 3 months, holes in the front at the toes and fabric coming away at the back. Has never happened with a pair of Nikes or Adidas.

indicating the type of shoes you want would be helpful. I'm gonna make an assumption and take it that you don't want a pair of brogues or jmmy choos.

Schuh are my fave place to buy shoes online. Their returns policy is the best Ive come across - 365 days! and you can take em back into one of their stores instead if you prefer

since I only ever buy stuff at rock bottom prices because Im cheap ...

mandmdirect have decent brands & you can usually snag a bargain if youre strapped for cash. it's decent for clothing too

branch 309 also do reduced priced brands

ebays fashion outlet - it's where most of the main high street retailers sell their remainder sale stock. always worth checking out.

Ive got tons of other links Ive horded over the years, but dunno what youre looking for really.

Hold up, Schuh let you return stuff up to a year later? That's quality. I often buy shit that I don't wear but forget to take back in time (I've got about 12 jackets, I only ever wear 3 of them & I think there's about 6 that I have never wore & I've got at least 4 pairs of trainers that I've never wore & will likely never wear). It's been a while since I've seen anything I want to buy in there though. Might have a look later on.

Thanks for the recommendations, just ended up getting a pair of éS from routeone.co.uk, nothing very cool just some kicks for day to day wear.

PTCH Why not just stick all the stuff you've never worn on ebay, I did that with a load of stuff I had sitting about and at least got a tidy bit of cash back instead of sitting with cupboards full of shit I'll never wear.

I can't understand why someone would spend money on something, decide they didn't want it, but not take it back. You may as well just throw your money out the window. I've got about £150 on my rewards card from work think I'm going to buy trainers / converse and a new pair of jeans.

need to get me some new clothing and shoes, ive lost alot of weight and they all make me look like a child wearing them! i will browse through this and see if anything looks good, and yeah addict make banging gear, got a fair few pairs of their jeans, that stash pocket has saved me from a few arrests! :D plus the method zip hoodys(the old ones with the a logo over the shoulder are sick, the hood/collar is perfect for stashing stuff in!)
