So SWIM recently came across an article online whilst looking for a psychoactive drug with affects as similar to opiates/opiods as possible (as SWIM is on Suboxone - 8mg a day - and due to college and grades cannot detox). SWIM saw a link saying that a study was done with mice, and that each were given first a dose of diazepam, then of naloxone and the affects were severely diminished in some mice of different species. Results were said to be inconsistent. SWIM uses benzos regularly as he does bupe, and SWIM just happened to purchase 120$ in diazepam to help him through getting 4 wisdom teeth pulled at once (secretly on bupe, pain medication was barely if at all affective). Is there anything to this apparent "Experiment" that has been conducted? It was conducted in the 70's. Because SWIM noticed it takes a lot, and SWIM means A LOT more diazepam to achieve even close to the same affect and euphoria from, per say, 1mg of xanax, which would = 30mg of diazepam. SWIM understands Diazepam is quite much so weaker than xanax and clonazepam, but this seems a bit over the top. Any feedback would be muchly appreciated, for if this is true then SWIM needs to get rid of these damn diazepams and get something that will actually ease my pain (as well as chronic anxiety, panic attacks and insomnia).
FYI: Although I use benzos for legitimate anxiety and in this situation pain issues, it is also equally used for recreational reasons.
Thanks to all of you out there helping the world of psychoactive substance users achieve a safer equilibrium of euphoria, knowledge, experience and safety. Believe it or not, you're the people who are out to help others, once again thank you for reading.
