So this semester is the first time in my life I've felt like I've had 'too much' on my plate.
I have a full set of rigorous classes, a paid internship that is more or less a full time job, and I want to have time to learn python and C (two programming languages) because I know I'm going to need to use them in some classes I'm taking over the summer... I can tell that I'll be able to keep it all together, but it is going to take a LOT of consistent hard work. I'm planning on adding a mild stimulant to my daily routine, and would like some input.
I've used adderall (both IR and XR) and vyvanse, for cram sessions before. I found that I respond much better to adderall than to vyvanse (with vyvanse I tend to be very stimulated, but I get distracted very easily. I think the levo isomer in adderall gives my the mental stimulation I need to focus). I've considered low dose oral methamphetamine (probably around 10mg), but I'm not wild about how long the effects last. Do you think meth would be suitable for this purpose?
I've also looked into cathinones. The more research I do into substituted cathinones though, the less appealing they look. Most of the reports on erowid give me the impression that cathinones have a 'frantic' energy about them. I don't think that they would be very suitable for studying (I have never personally tried them though, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
