You're seeing things through a lens of competition, though. Just because everyone would be more capable, doesn't mean we'd be back at square one. We'd all be more capable! That isn't square one :) Because competition is not our only mode of behaviour or the only point to life.

I think human beings are already very clever. I'm not that bothered about quick and strong. What are you running from? What are you trying to lift? :D

I think our already excellent brains are most often wasted in ill-conceived effort. But I think this is a social, cultural problem rather than one that needs addressed with a miracle drug.

Because i an unemployed and competing against others to gain a job that is probably colouring my current views. Compared to other primates all human being are allready very clever, but of course some are more clever than others.

There havent been millions of Einsteins, imagine if there was ! And only the select few best brains of each generation or those descended from rich parents to be able to afford the very best education money can buy get a chance to go to Oxbridge, and go on to account for most of the people who hold the power in this country.

If there was a drug that would give me another 50 or 100 IQ points, make me run as fast as Ussain Bolt and be as strong as an oxe I'd be all over it.

At the moment I'd just settle for being able to gain a little motivation it must be said.

Yes, exactly, our life conditions make us view ourselves, other people and the world in certain ways. Under different conditions we see things differently. This is such an important point!
