Wrote this out and it didn't post. Here's another go.

I'm looking for a good study aide.

Ritalin seems to be the gold standard, but I've been scammed once, and it seems the hardest thing ever to source.
So is there anything that's not as unattainable that has similar effects?
I've tried Modafanil. And it did the trick for an hour or 2, but the sketchyness, and inability to sleep for 10 hours post-dose seemed to nulify those positives.

Are any of the RC's available anywhere near Ritz league?

Its just I have some really important exams coming up, and would be greatful for that little boost in my revision/memory call-back.

Thanks

Adderall would be my personal choice, but it's pretty damn scarce in this country. Actually, dexamphetamine is even better but that's even rarer.

Not tried Modafinil but I hear very good things.

If you're gonna take modafinil, take it first thing in the morning, or w/e you get up. Also if its making you feel sketchy maybe your dose was too high and you could just try half a pill.

Cheers. Do you know anything with regards to the differences with Modalert, Wakalert, Provogil, Modavigil ect? Prices vary greatly.

ive only tried the first two, which i believe are slightly different substances, the last 2 are brand names of modafinil AFAIK. Ive allways gone for the cheap Indian generic modafinil - Modalert.

Been interested in this myself, are there any RCs currently on the market that are good, not hugely expensive, and are more appropriate for helping you study as opposed to chainsmoke/wank? Ritalin ain't an option for me and I'd rather give speed a wide berth cos it turns me into a hyper cunt

I find 4-FA to be pretty beneficial, but don't even go near the kind of doses people would use it for recreationally.

It's the closest to dexamphetamine I've ever been apart from dexamphetamine itself.

Not a fan of Modafinil, and wouldn't compare it to ritalin.

On ritalin I could work completely distraction free for hours but on modafinil yes I felt alert, but I also felt a bit wired and my concentration levels were possibly worse than if I hadn't taken the stuff.

I use 4-fa at 15-25mg, normally the lower end.
A friend of mine loves modafinil, best thing that's ever happened to him, apparently.

Just fukin study init . You signed up 4 the course so u knew what the deal was .

Next folk will want a magic drug that gives them all the bloody answers

Jah Rastafari !!

I expected someone to chime in with that sooner or later, Brimz. :D

There's some truth to what you're saying - nobody should be relying on a pill to grant them success in their studies. What discotits and Scotasman say about exercise is 100% true too.

Sometimes though, people maybe need that bit extra; a lot of students work long hours in addition to studying, and that can play havoc with the ability to focus and concentrate. So can depression and a number of other conditions. I know that if I'd known more about the possible benefits of stimulants I could maybe have been able to stay in education a little longer and performed better.

No drug is going to magically allow you to succeed though, you're right.

The thing is, if ever such a thing was invented, and who is to say that scientists over the next decades, centuries, milleniums wont, then obviously the people taking it would have an unfair advantage over people not taking it, they would be that much smarter, quicker and stronger, so everyone would have to take it, just to be able to compete, and then we'd be back to square one, only everyone would be super quick, super genius, and super strong.
