I am only part black and I went to buy clothes at jcpenny's the cashiers all looked at me with four eyes. I'm aware that there are gentlemen and scum in every race so really thanks for pointing that out. I have had people from all walks of life and races who I was cool with. But with that said there are also hoods out there that hate white people and have no sense of right or wrong. They look up to a culture that glamorizes violent crimes, robbery and prostitution as viable ways of making money and these stupid punk ass white kids with no upbringing think it's also cool. So you're basically justifying killing and robbing because they might have had a bad childhood and been underpriveledged... Pretty typical. There are plenty of people who haven't always had the best life, yet make something out of themselves and have enough sense to not rob and murder people for their belongings. I don't care how tough their childhood was or how opressed by society they think they were, I have no sympathy for these fucks that turn to violent crime because they think that it's all that they're destined to be. They deserve nothing but to rot in jail.

Again, let's just throw out all personal responsibity and blame it on society... If there weren't so may black people in prison then it would be easier to not make that connection. I'm just saying that crime is definitely a real problem within that community and anyone who doesn't think so is blind.

Last year I was the only white person among my job of about 80 people. I was quiet for the first couple weeks because I am quiet around new people. After I finally made friends with all my co-workers and started hanging out with them I was at a party and one dude told me everyone thought they thought I was going to flip and come shoot the place up mass-murder style. I thought he was bullshitting so I went and asked some other people and it turns out a lot of guys did think that (before they knew me)! It was just the quiet/white male/loner thing.

Surprised the hell out of me but stereotypes do work both ways!

I personally haven't dealt with too much other than being poor but I know people that have that went on to be successful people. You think no white people have dealt with the same things that you're talking about? Hell, homelessness is pretty bad in my area and yet I don't think I've seen a single black homeless person. I'm not talking about 50 years ago, I'm talking about NOW. If you want to talk about the past I could easily say that Native Americans had it way worse. They weren't just denied human rights, they were slaughtered and had all their land taken away and their food sources wiped out. Yet somehow there are successful ones out there nowadays who don't dwell on what happened in the past or use it to justify their mistakes. But you're right I was wrong, blacks have MORE opportunities than whites nowadays. lol
