Stuck in hospital coming off suboxone

So here i am stuck in the hospital because of a low heart rate with the doctors sratching there heads wondering if they should stick a pacemaker in me. So they made me stop taking
suboxone to see if this is pushing my heart pulse down. I have been off suboxone since fri. I haven't experienced any withdrawals yet, and wondering when it's coming. They don't want to do anything because of the halflife of the drug.
Any idea when it's coming? My pulse is reading around 45-51bpm. So that's pretty low. When I first came into the hospital it was 37-39. Any ideas? I really don't want to get the pacemaker implanted. And i really don't want to be going thru any withdrawals in the hospital. The doctors are taking there sweet time to decide what to do. It's getting expensive also. martinbr

This is something that you will have to trust the doctors to decide. How long have you had this heart condition? Like spacejunk said, the bupe is still in your system. So the doctors cannot make a decision I imagine until you've withdrawn. It's only been two days so it may take another day or so depending on how much you were using.

When I was in a rehab, using methadone made my heart rate and blood pressure very low. So much that the nurses said that can't be right, after 3 readings with different equipment, is was extremely low. They didn't want to dose me again. So I can see this happening with bupe too. Hang in there. <3
 
24mg. Which is high i know. Are we talking a few weeks? Do you think it dropped my pulse rate that much after not taking it for 4 days?

It's possible since that is a high dose. I hope your doctors can sort this out soon. What's your numbers like today? Any improvement? Let us know what transpires and I forgot to say Welcome to Bluelight! :)
 
Well, this is my 4th day off bupe. All i am experiencing is a headache. If this is the worst that it gets, I am staying off the stuff or or at least take a mild dose and start to taper myself off. Now, it's a matter of life and death if it is knocking my heart rate down that much. It's just too dangerous. kind of a expensive lesson to learn that it was the medicine to stay in the hospital,
