I'm more of a Biscuits/Lotus person myself but STS9 lays down some sweet funk. I've been enjoying The Malah. I think they might also be from the southeast and have a downtempo sound very in line with the Tribe

the malah is from south carolina i believe. have enjoyed a few shows of theirs at the kinetic playground here in chicago. good stuff.

Yes! two STS9 sets at Electric Forest this year alongside 3 String Cheese sets, Bassnectar, and Thievery Corporation...all acts in my top ten favorite so it's pretty much heaven to me

The run at the tabby was fucking amazing!! I streamed it the 3 nights i didn't go. OHHHHH and they are having their festival again this year !!!!!!!!! Now they have the led screens with saxtons godlike light show, it is heaven
