Another friend came up to me today,
Told me how lucky I was to have you,
Whether it be by my side or just in heart.
My co-workers call you adorable,
Saying that he's crazy to leave you.
My best friend thinks you are unique,
So calm, collected, talented and abstract.
Just an hour ago, a good friend of yours,
She told me how strong you are for us.
How you sacrifice so much of yourself,
Those little concert jobs you take,
To make a little spending money for us.
Working weekly 7am-10pm for a prom dress,
How you work Saturdays for violin lessons.
Yet still come support us at plays,
At concerts or awards banquets.
How you are so level headed through this.
That is why I love you, because you are there,
whether in spirit or in person,
Always and forever with me.
