Am I good to take a strong amount of an opiate tomorrow morning after taking 4 mg of klonopin at around 6 pm today? The high is defiantly over, but I don't understand if I'm still in the risk with kpin's long half life. I should be okay if the effects of the high are completely over, right? :( I have a high opiate tolerance, but a low benzo one.

Klonopin has a pretty decent half life, so in terms of being as safe as possible I would wait at least 24 hours to take your opiates. You will most likely be just fine, especially if the intoxicating effects have worn off. But, after seeing too many people die from combining opiates/benzos I always have to advise using extreme caution combining the two.

^Agreed.

Clonazepam has the longest duration of action of any benzo I can think of, it lasts much longer than Diazepam's misleadingly longer half life. Klonopin (clonazepam) is felt for good 12 hours, with afterglow effects up to a good 24 hours, whereas diazepam wears off in only 6-8 hours, with a 4-6 hour afterglow. Clonazepam is a chlorinated derivative of nitrazepam (a powerful hypnotic benzo), which means this chloro-nitrobenzodiazepine is a seriously underrated benzo in terms of effects potency and the sheer destruction of anxiety and panic attacks.

The slow onset and even slower peak (t:+4 hours) makes it an attractive benzo to be prescribed by psychiatrists, due to the lower recreational potential compared to other benzos approved for panic attacks, due to the extremely long duration, making once-daily dosing possible therapeutically possible, whereas a single dose diazepam is not therapeutically active for a full 24 hours, making it usually dose 2-3 times a day... clonazepam is sometimes referred to as "the valium of the 2010's," due to its dosing versatility and appeal to physicians relative to its benzo siblings.

I would also adivise against it! Although if you ARE going to do definitely don't make it a STRONG opiate dose! Despite being in rougher condition like having been up for <5> or so days on a methamphetamine binge then taken some xanax which doesn't have as long a half life and then taking 1/3 of my regular dose of heroin which I had done many times before minus the xanax, I overdosed and was without pulse and not breathing for around 20-30 minutes! Please be careful!

In order to stay in the "harm reduction" realm of this forum, I would have to agree with the others above. It's not a good idea to mix the two.

However, I will provide some insight into my personal experiences. I frequently take clonazepam and opiates recreationally, and although I have never taken them both at the same time, I've been in your situation before where I've taken the Kpins in the afternoon to ease me out and reduce some stress, and then later that night I'd dose some oxy, or other opiates.

I'm not sure what you mean by "strong" opiate dose, but I personally have taken 2.5 mgs of Clonazepam before and then after the initial effects of that have worn off I dosed on 30mg of Oxycodone and aside from being really sleep after the Oxy started to wear off, I had no negative effects. I certainly wouldn't recommend driving or doing anything strenuous if you DO decide to mix these drugs. And don't take what I say as a go-ahead to do it yourself. Everyone is different.
