ok im not around this kind of stuff normally and i will admit that im a dumb ass. went to a friend of a friends house "and i was drinkin" and he offered me speed. for some unknown reason i thought he was talkin about coke cause i always thought u could only smoke meth. "i know now". well after doing 2 lines an on my way home do i find out that it was meth. so did research an now i have questions. ok so i know that adhd medicines are supposed to be very simular to speed. i had adhd as a kid an was prescribed just about all they had to offer for it and it so so calmed me down. so knowing that.. i did two lines and had some fun which caused my heart to race but other than losing some of my shyness an my mind racing a little, i dont feel that different so will it not work like it does on my friends cause of my past or did i not do enough or what?

Most ADHD/ADD medicines are stimulants (speed). Adderall, Dexedrine, Vyvanse, etc In fact, Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) is similar in potency to methamphetamine.
There's no way to know if you did "enough" or not - its a street drug and there's no way to know the purity.

Yes I would even say 1mg of d-amp to equate to 1mg of d-methamp, but the effects via various ROA's is totally off, and the durations are wildly different. I don't use either anymore, and only have some dexedrine IR tablets from a prescription left.

Because street speed tends to vary a lot in purity, it can be very hard to judge dosage. So perhaps you just didn't do enough.
I've had similar experiences before I was officially diagnosed with ADHD and first started experimenting with other similar drugs. I would usually find myself relaxed and happy - in contrast to my buddy who would be bouncing off the wall. But ADHD or not, you take too much of any stimulant and you will hit the "saturation point" (so-to-speak), and then the excess chemical reactions no longer bring you to baseline, but rather bring you to an altered state where the common effects are experienced. ADHD is not so much about the need for speed to function, but rather the need to influence dopamine/serotonin production so that you can feel "normal" like other people (i think).
But like others have suggested, it could have just been a question of potency.

ADHD does not effect how you react to uppers. It just happens that someone with ADHD on adderall functions better than without, it's the same effects on everyone. Frankly I'm not suprised you didn't feel intoxicated, this is common with uppers, it's more like your super sober if that makes sense. How could you even mistake meth for coke? One numbs your nose, the other burns like a motherfucker.

And just so this gets cleared up...anything can be snorted, anything can be smoked, anything can be slammed, anything can be swallowed, anything can be set under the tongue, and anything can get shoved up the ass...it's all about if you WANT to do whichever RoA with whichever drug...don't slam codeine or hydrocodone though, it can be lethal even at safe, therapeutic doses... (I wouldn't advise picking up a needle at all to be honest...or an oral syringe to plug stuff up the ass for that matter, because if you're willing to shove something up your ass just to get that much higher, you're probably an addict to the substance (or to anal stretching) lmao...)
