strattera (atomexetine) high

My shitty ass psych doctor denied prescribing me any stimulants... Again... For ADD. I'm gonna switch doctors but she gave me a shit load of strattera to sample. She wouldn't prescribe stims because of fear of abuse (she's right I would abuse them.. But still! ;P 40 dollar copay for this garbage)

Anyhow... I can't find any real concrete info on this drug's recreational potential. Anyone have any info? Does it even have a high? Is it possible to get a high from it? Or is it going in the trash?

It's worth trying at a reasonable dose to see if it helps your ADD (it does for some) but otherwise it's about as much fun as having the flu if you, uh "adjust" your dosage.

Total crap for recreational purposes, straight NRI action. No fun at all. But if taken in a moderate dose it may help you with your ADD.

Same thing happened to me today. I was hoping for adderal. Instead I got strettera. Blahhh. What if a person injctd it iv?

You'd probably feel like crap, but really quickly as opposed to having to wait ~20 min.

Straterra was also the first thing I was prescribed for ADD... I think some doctors prefer a patient to start with a nonstimulant medication. I took one straterra and felt like shit. Jittery, my mind felt weird, my jaw trembled and yawned uncontrollably, and I was so tired I couldn't get off the couch. I called my dr and she said I should at least try it for a week, so I said ok, didn't take anymore, and called back in a week saying it was still making me too tired. I'm pretty sure that stuff is junk if you are looking for some type of high.
