Opioids strange withdrawl

hi, so i have been having strange withdrawl symptoms. last time i used for fun was 8 days ago, 60mg roxy orally. i have been doing much better at using once a week for the last five weeks. this friday i aquired 1ml of 0.3mg/ml buprenorphine. i was craviny and was trying to go as long as possible with out indulging. well long story short i plugged my bup, craving resolved but no high, now sunday 3 days later im sore all over joiints especialy feels like ive been using every day for a week and quit cold turky. what gives?

so the actual last time you used for fun was friday (three days ago) not 8 days ago?

last time i got high was 8 days, i guess my question then is could that small of an amount of bup (0.3) cause withdrawal?

having cut down to weekly use, the only withdrawal i have felt seemed to come after the bup

Could it possibly be precip withdrawals brought on by the buprenophine? What did it feel like when you took the bupe? Even though it sounds like you waited 4 or 5 days after taking the roxys before taking the bupe, occasionally for some people (depending on one's metabolism etc) buprenorphine can cause withdrawal symptoms when taken even a week or more after other opioids. It is pretty unlikely but not impossible, and if it were the case it could explain why your WDs were only brought on after taking the bupe, because the roxys or whatever else you'd been taking in the past could have still been in your system if you are a slow metabolizer. Did you take any other longer-lasting opioids in the past, such as methadone?

It could also be that your body just doesn't like bupe and they aren't actual WDs, or perhaps you are coming down with a cold or haven't been getting enough potassium or something?

Its possible you've been suffering RLS in your sleep which could leave you feeling sore and you might have no recollection of it since you werent using enough to prevent you from sleeping. It may be worth it to try and find a low dose neurontin when you use to ensure that this side effect is not occurring.

Using anything once a week is not going to get you psychically dependent... if you weren't strung out on anything, and just used bupe one day 8 days ago.. you are not going to feel withdrawal..that's not how it works. You need to have been using every day for a week or two for any signs of withdrawal to appear after discontinuing use. Whatever you are feeling, it isn't withdrawal. It's either mental or just from something totally unrelated...
