strange weight of pills

when i weigh 5 20mg pills (generic apo 20mg sr methylphenidate) they only weigh 50mg ? makes no sense to me can someone explain this pls ?

I can't imagine what the cause could be for that. I would care to venture that the cause is the scale, not the pills. Pharmaceutical manufacturing is so fucking exact that it is ridiculous. Also, the regulations on providing the exact material weight of the active substance is also ridiculously high.
 
I tested and retested my scale, i can show pix of the scale weighing accurately and then of them weighing 5 20mg pills as 50mg. Unless I'm missing something completely obvious. What im saying is the truth.
 
How much does a single pill weigh on your scale? Two pills? Three? Plot a graph of # of pills v. measured weight and the problem should reveal itself.
 
It's definitely your scale... not only is impossible for 5 20mg pills to weigh 50mgs but there's no such thing as a 10mg pill. If you meant to say each pill weighs 50mgs that's still very off, even really small pills typically weigh ~100-150mgs. Are you sure you're not misinterpreting decimal points?
