Used to do oxycodone for a while last year, getting up to 20mg daily. Caused problems in my life so I stopped, but came across some and thought I'd try it again. It's been a few months so I figured my tolerance should have decreased significantly. I did 50mg of oxycontin and was really surprised with the results. I didn't get much euphoria at all and felt more sleepy and dopey. It was insufflated and taken over the course of about an hour. I got the worst opiate itches I had ever had, and my sleep was really messed up. I felt like I was going in and out of sleep for hours, but when I checked my clock I had only been in bed for two. A few hours later I woke up and was dry heaving and totally unable to keep water down. Feeling okay now but disappointed that it was a negative experience. Looking for tips/suggestions to have a better experience in the future. Not trying to make it a habit but rather something to be enjoyed on occasion. I understand that it will never again be like the first time, but I'd hope it can still be enjoyed. Thx!

Alright that's definitely something I'm going to do. Is there anything that can help combat the itch other than benadryl? I'm out of it and that's one of the primary reasons I think I got little sleep.

yeah benadryl/diphenhydramine will F up your sleep. doxylamine is proven to be a better antihistamine but is much more potent for sleep. that could be a dangerous combo. it can also cause night terrors. hydroxyzine is a good antihistamine but its Rx only. you really cant do anything about the itching. you def took too much oxy considering how long its been. also oxycontin is formulated differently now. i dont know about the lower doses (10, 20) but the 80s are made to be 'unabusable.' even when you get clever enough to grind them...they dont feel like the original 80s did. so a lot of it could be the fact youre sniffing an XR form

Thanks for the replies. I've felt better in the past couple days but had limited success getting that level of opiate high. The pills were 20 OCs.

Honestly it's better in the long run they don't make me feel like they used to. The thing I didn't understand that I hope might help someone else is that they don't make you better. You might feel like they make you better, and help you with things you want to change about yourself, but your friends and family don't judge you as critically. In fact, they probably don't like you as much when you're using. So anyways, not to be preachy but that was one of my realizations that got me to stop the habit.
