Does anyone know what a marquis regent test that turns pinkish light purple, but doesn't go any darker? the effects are almost exactly like MDMA. Isn't pink opiate? It doesn't make sense. Is this something new?

We would need a picture. Is it possible your kit is just old?

I can't say anything till I see a pic, but no, that doesn't sound normal. Don't consume till we figure it out, it's not worth the risk of what else it could be... (which is anything at all)

I can't see your photo and I got to run.. but the kits get darker as time progresses. If it looks a lot darker/browner than when you first got it, it's probably lost it's potency.

It should have a very faint yellowish brown tint to it (Marquis), but if it's darker than that it's probably old

you were correct Folley.. test kit must of been old.. new Marquis kit shows totally different results, just as confusing. Marquis = dark reddish brown with some yellow surrounding. dance safe page says rusty brown = 6-APB , so wondering if that is it.

Whats the advice with a test to preserve it do they suggest to refrigerate or put in freezer?

It seems that concentrated sulphuric acid freezes at 3oC so I guess refrigeration might be the only option. Maybe refigeration makes the test kit deteriation worse?

Please can someone clarify?

(I am referring to Marquis) of course other reagents would be very different :)

Odd if you ended up with 6-APB instead of MDMA, it's actually more expensive isn't it? Being legal and all.

MDMA is kind of simple; if it doesn't test like it should then it isn't worth taking. Kind of lucky I've never had a bad bit of MD to be honest.

Refrigeration is good, but make sure your keeping them protected and hidden, not just out in the open. Sulphuric acid and formaldehyde is not something you want spilling in your fridge. You can keep them at room temperature just fine though, if you buy from Dancesafe just be sure to keep them in the bottles with packing they give you and keep it away from heat.

The reagents really just go bad after a year, no matter what you do :\
