strange Heroin cut

ok so I got some heroin yesterday and when I shot it up it burned like I was missing, I was drawing blood back so I know I was in. This happened each time I shot which was like 5 times. And I got the skin reaction you do when you miss, the reddness and itchiness and the little bumps that show up. And asides from that it seemed like there was something strange about the high, like It was doing something strange to my vision. Sometimes I would see blue like outlines to things I was looking at. The dope had an ok high but Ive never had any of the stuff do anything like this to me, any clue to what was going on?
 
I'm kind of curious as to why you continued shooting it when it had this effect...
