Hi my friend lives in Atlanta and just recently received heroin that is a darkish gray colored fine powder. He has never ever seen anything like this and is wondefring if anyone has ever heard of it. He is scared to try it because of the way it looks. He did a test by putting it on tinfoil and lighting it from underneath,, it turned very fasttly into a dark brown looking substance that smoked white. It tastes really bitter but not necessarily like other stuff he has tasted. Does anyone nkow anything about this? He is worried to do it, having never seen anything like it. PS when dissolved in water, it leaves behind a little bit of what he would normally call "cut", and the water is also a grayish color.

I've had Grey dope that was good and gray dope that sucked....There's no telling, pure speculation....But there is stuff out there that is that color that is H, thats all I can say about it
I've seen gray dope before and it was the same as usual as far as the high goes. It comes in a range of colour, from black to practically white. The one factor I would guess it depends on is where/who he got it from. If it was a regular connect and it suddenly is a different colour, I'd be concerned. But if it was from someone he normally doesn't get from/never has, it could be perfectly normal.

Well he told me that he just tried it and it was actually pretty good and no harm came to him. It was the weirdest looking stuff he's ever seen, hadn't seen anything like it in like 6 years he's been doing this stuff (used to white/tan/brown powder/rock). Guess it doesn't matter what the color is!

I'm guessing tar is the norm in atlanta, so maybe you got lucky and got some powdered hcl heroin. Try snorting a little bit and so how it is. Either that or you got ripped off...
noooo there is NO tar in atlanta. he's NEVER seen tar once in his entire dope using career. it is always a tan/off white/brown powder or rock that breaks into powder that dissolves nicely in water.

Yea I have never had anything but powder heroin,but grey can mean very potent. It really depends. Smell it. Taste it. I had some grey shit I am pretty sure was just Pure or fent cut as the amount I did at the time was small and it fucked me up nod wise for a few hours very hard just be careful.

I've had white fluffly dope that turned a coca cola brown, with no residue when mixed, suck!
I've had dope that was all speckled and came back urine yellow with bits of coffee grounds floating in it be fire!

My ex lives in Atlanta, and I visited him this weekend. An acquaintance of his was talking about a grey heroin just like the one that you described that she had done a few times before she got clean. She said it was very powdery, and she also described the brown on the inside/corpse color on the outside. She had only had the brown, hard before. I don't think she's been doing heroin for very long, maybe three months, so I was thinking that she's not 100% qualified to say if she's ever seen this stuff pass through before. She told me that she OD'd when she did it and was out for a couple of minutes. I know that she injects it. Said she went blue after a few minutes and that her girlfriend saved her by throwing her on the couch really hard. Her lady did some online research about it after they kicked because she just about lost it when her girl OD'd, and she found out that several deaths have happened since she first saw that batch around. Like eight reported deaths. I was curious too, so I looked it up. A few states on the East coast are reporting an increase in heroin deaths as well. She told me that the grey stuff felt like it was cut with some sort of sleeping pill, or maybe a barbituate. She never got the energy or the euphoria that she felt with the brown stuff. Said that she didn't get nearly as much of an endorphin rush and she nodded the whole time. That's one of the reasons why she quit the stuff. I pray that she can stay off of it. She told me that she's miserable in her post withdrawals right now. So from what I hear from her, I'd be careful with this stuff. Lord knows what could happen if it was shot, and she said it was cut like crazy. Not like they know exactly what is in the brown stuff, either. Or the other scenario is that she just injected too much, plain and simple, and it had nothing to do with the cut. She thought it was a really dirtied up China White at first, but changed her mind when she realized that it probably wasn't even as pure as the brown stuff. I'm guessing that the grey stuff came from pretty far away. Any drug is a crap shoot, but I would say to hunt the brown stuff down if it's still there. That is just some scary
