Strange colour change?

This is NOT intended to be a "what is this cut with" thread at ALL so please don't close this for that reason.

A buddy of mine had these 'MDMA' gel caps. They were full to the brim and white. However, when you open the capsule and pour it out, it turns into a sandy brown colour! Does MDMA oxidize like this? What could possibly change colour when it hits the air like that?

It may not be a "what's this cut with" thread but its a "what is this" thread instead. MDMA does not oxidise like that but for what the substance is - we dont know it could be a number of things.

As substance / pill ID's are not allowed on the threads - this is being closed.
