Stimulants Strange adderall reaction?

Hey guys, so I am an eighteen year old college freshman who just used adderall instant release today and yesterday to get some finals work done, with no recreational intent. Yesterday I took 10mg and today I took 25mg, however, I noticed that although there was definitely a little euphoria and good feeling, the adderall not only had no comedown whatsoever but also my appetite wasn't suppressed at all and I almost fell asleep today three hours after taking 25mg! Even weirder is that coffee - yes coffee - has a SIGNIFICANTLY worse crash for me (restlessness, anxiety) than adderall. It was excellent at improving my focus and train of thought though. Anyways, could this mean I possibly have ADHD? I don't intend to use adderall much anymore due to addiction potential, etc. I was just wondering out of curiosity.

It seems like it worked for you as its supposed to as prescribed for AD(H)D. 25mg isn't a particularly heavy dose (in my opinion or experience). Everyone's biochemistry is a bit different. Because of this, what works one way for someone may not be the case for another. I wouldn't consider the reaction to be strange. Had the dose been 80+ mg, it would be a different story. Amphetamine brought my grades up in college. I experienced similar effects to you, however i found it more effective to dose 10mg every 3-5 hrs prn for focus. Upon a recreational dose of 80+mg, it was a whole different ball game. Worry not, and good luck with your schooling!

So I've been doing low doses (20-60mg) everyday for like the past 6 days and was wondering if I could keep this up for another week or two. Do you think I'll do any lasting damage/ will be functional?

Lasting damage? No. Functional? Absolutely. Just don't dose too close together within a given period.

Amphetamines will give you a rush with or without adhd. Thats a small dose to get euphoria on . Just take what you need , if you spin your brain too fast the crash will suck. Adderall ramps people that dont need it , if you do have adhd it should be a chilled focus and if you go overboard its a positive attitude, feels like your body is flying sometimes. Please care of amphs, They can screw with your mind quick...
