It's a blizzard of words
I cannot stop
step out into the storm
and face it head on
I see pain
I see life
I see truth
open wide my eyes
never to shut them again
even if I get frostbite
let the storm rage
in each snowflake
I see beauty
I see peace
I see myself
begin to heal
as each snowflake
falls gently
