Storing truffles

If someone was to have some philosophers' stones that were fresh but vac packed, how would be best to store? (a method of drying and freezing?) - is this possible?

I had truffles for like 5 weeks just in their pack in my room. when i ate them, they worked fine but they tasted especially gross

i wanna keep them for a couple of months if possible. any ideas?

Store in fridge for a week, if you want to store them longer like the months you mention you can dry them by taking them out of the package and letting a fan gently blow air over them. Wait a few days until they are entirely dry. Then store in a dry and cool place. Freezer or fridge are possible but protect them from moisture in the air!
When you want to consume them just let them rehydrate in a small bowl of water or something.

Best way to dry them is to put them in a closed box in the fridge on top of paper towel. Under the paper put silica gel. After the are dry u can grind them in a coffee grinder.
