Hello,
I was wondering if storing research chemicals in their original baggie in a small metallic box in close contact (That's mean for example that I have 20 baggie and that I put all of them in my mettalic box) could be contaminate the other chemical ?
Somone told me this :
I feel a bit embarassed because I used to store my research chemicals in close contact (putting all the baggie in the same mettalic box) [..] Is there really a risk to contaminate all of my chemicals ?
Thank you 8(

officially I would never advice to have 2 bags with different chemicals in close contact because some solvents may pass through the plastic. A few years ago this happened to me as a user when storing aMT. The solvents vaped and the bag turned sticky and yellow and so did the ones close to it. Absolutely disgusting.
I hope that helps!
