Opioids storing opened glass ampoule/vial. Possibe? How?

I have a glass ampoule that is opened by cracking the top off.

Once opened can it be stored in a way to maintain the product inside (Morphine) and remain sterile and hygienic?

The intention is to try it out as I'm not new to opiates but I am to morphine, if it doesn't agree with me I'll move it.

I wanted to buy the vials that have the rubber tops you inject into to add/withdraw solutions for injection but can't find em.

Anyway I'd appreciate any feedback and input on what is and isn't possible?

single use vials are not meant to be stored.

if you are going to store it for a day or two just draw it up in a sterile syringe and make sure there is no air in there , put the cap on and put it in a clean fridge (ziploc it or something)

How long will it last stored in the fridge like that?

Do you know where I can buy the reuse able vials with the rubber tops??

we are not allowed to share drug sources on these forums. Unless you are asking about empty vials , but in that case you would need to add a conserving agent (such as benzyl alcohol).

I already answered your question it won't ""last" , depending on enviromental factors during the transfering from the vial and storage (dust, hygiene, temperature) it might be ok to inject anywhere between 24 hours and a week.

once opened and exposed to air an ampule is not sterile any more and not safe to inject without filtration
