storing liquid acid/refilling it

hi everyone!

Assuming one would travel in a hot climate with a bottle of acid, there is of course some evaporation of the alcohols in it. if one decides to refill it to a new bottle which is bette suited, how could one make sure to get most of the residue out of the old bottle? putting some more alcohol in it and shake a few times or does it have to soak overnight? also if there is no other alcohol around, would (a good) whiskey do it as well? if anyone got experience with storage in hot climates, my friend would be very thankful for it.

thanks in advance!

If the bottle is sealed properly there should be no evaporation of solvent.
Anyway if you wish to transfer it yes swishing a small amount of solvent in the old bottle will suffice; it does not need to soak.
If you wish to get absolutely all of it you could do it twice but it isn't really necessary.
Also make sure you take in to account the extra solvent you are adding when you are calculating dosages.
If you can find a amber dropper vial that would be ideal and keeping it in a place away from moisture is ideal; however LSD does not degrade as readily as you think.
I know people who have traveled around festivals for all the summer months with the same vial of LSD with no noticeable degradation.
