I'm not 100% as to where questions of this nature are supposed to be asked. so forgive me if i fucked up and posted in the wrong section. that being said, does anyone know the shelf(fridge) life of kratom tea?

Kratom tea keeps for anywhere from 3-5 days in a (pretty cold) fridge. It keeps almost the same as coffee would. (i.e not very long out of the fridge, a little longer in one.)

I'd recommend keeping it in a sealed container and turning the fridge temp-dial way down. I've had it sit for 6 days and still be just fine, but I would be a little sketchy about keeping it any longer than that. Don't forget to re-heat it, cold kratom tea is yucky.

You could add alcohol to the tea to keep it longer than the 3-5 days but that may be something you wouldn't want to have in your tea.

this is most definitely good to know, i would just try myself but am wayy too broke to risk laying 15-20 dollars of kratom to waste

I hear that, times are hard. You can use any type of sealed container, 2 liter bottle, whatever. The more floaties you get out of the brew, the longer it will last as well.

If you use press-n-brew tea bags (the kind you fill yourself, purchase at any health food store) it'll cut down on your brew time and save you a lot of filtering trouble. They work just as well as placing it into the pot all by its lonesome.

I've read some things saying that tea bags won't work as well, and I don't think it's true as now I can't remember how I ever brewed the stuff without them.

Hope this helps.
