Heroin Storage/Degradation Q's

Hi. I was wondering how or what is the most efficient way to store Powder Heroin (#3, #4)? Both long term and short term if there is and difference...
Second Q being; Does Heroin (Diacetylmorphine), when it's in its powder state, degrade to morphine (or some other sub-par less-potent form) when its starts to clump, get sticky, and harden from the humidity. air and/or heat and losses its powder form??

Read up on hydrolysis of diacetylmorphine, it happens but requires an extended period of exposure to a water source such as humidity, moisture and well, water.
