Stimulants stopped my meds cold turkey

well, my dad wanted my meds so he called my psychiatrist and he said he wanted me off of them and he listened
so i stopped taking all of these cold turkey
vyvanse 50mg
clonazepam 1mg
flouxetine 40mg
abilify 5mg
what will help me deal withthe nausea?
also when should this feeling go away



i honestly feel like dying
benzo, amphetamine and anti-depressant withdrawl
my dads a dick



what really pissed me off the most was the fact that my doctor listened to him and didnt ween me off them and decided to stop cold turkey


also its been like 5 days, is it safe to take dxm or will the prozacs halflife cause me to have risk of getting serotonin syndrome

Of course the docs gunna listen to the adult/legal guardian, not the child...(not saying your a kid but you get my flow). Because the doc doesn't want some legal issue to arrise, plus your dads the one paying him/your dads insurence company and docs are all about making money so unfortunally until your 18 you have to deal with things like this... It IS messed up your doc did this, I personally would call him and ask why, and also feed him the knowledge that cold turkey is not a smart way to go about it due to the withdrawl effects that im sure he is aware of. Give the doctor a call. And for your dad to do this, I dont know the situation or why he did, but talk to him about it as well...Stand up for yourself man, its your body and your health at risk. You seem smart so speak your mind, its a free world.

I'd recommend talking to your dad about this...find some evidence online about the negative effects of withdrawing from these drugs and present them to him. Show him how it is more damaging for you to be without them.
If he's unwilling to budge then I guess you just gotta put up with it. Obviously if you start feeling really negative effects from the benzo/antidepressant withdrawal then you need to seek medical attention.

Wow, I do not envy you. How long have you been on these things? What the fuck is your dad's deal?

Does he know that abruptly stopping any ONE of these meds is dangerous and unwise?

amphetamine, benzo, and antidepressant withdrawals are all horrible by themselves. That's really fucked up, I think a Dr. should be held accountable for the human suffering they can cause a patient. It's immoral and unethical to put someone through horrible withdrawals, especially with different classes of drugs. If you are over 18 find a Dr. and explain that you are suffering needlessly and get away from your dad. It's even worse if you are using the meds for medicinal purposes and not even abusing them. Sounds like pure torture, I hope you can find a Dr to help you, if you are under 18 I have no idea what you should do, the whole situation is fucked up and wrong. I recommend stealing your medication back and finding a new source, one which your dad cannot interfere with, if possible.

I dont know the deal but i want to kick your dad in the dick thats not even parent like. Wtf. Amphetamines are not bad in terms of wd just eat lots of fish oils....the benzo thing and antideprsnt really bothers me go to er.......tell them what happened fuck your dad right now thats horrible

Talk to your father, and talk to your Dr. We can't do anything for you here, and withdrawing from that cocktail of drugs could be quite rough.

I expect you would survive and stabilize after several months if you continue to cold-turkey. Good luck.
