I started taking 20 mg of fluoxetine daily about a week ago. but have missed my doses for the past 3 days. I have decided that I do not want to take it. I am used to being on and off meds and am doing fine. Im doing even better now because a couple of days ago a buddy gave me some very pure moon rocks and I really want to roll. I looked into the half-life of prozac and it seemed to say that after acute administration the half life is 2-3 days. I want to take about 50-60 mg of the moonies. Do you think it will be effective by this point (4 days later)?

50-60mg is a VERY low dose to begin with...ontop of your SSRI use...I'm going to say its too soon. Just wondering..why you take such a small dose? IMO under 80mg it's barely noticable.

I've only ever done methylone. My friend suggested I eat half the .1 because it's very strong. I also plan on mixing it with acid.

My understanding is prozac takes at least 9 days to clear your system. I don't know when rolling becomes effective in relation to that.

It takes about 11 days for a single dose of fluoxetine to completely leave your body. Wait a bit longer. Also, if you plan on taking acid with the MD, take the acid first and take the full .1 3-4 hours into it. If you've done methylone you'll be fine! The highs are virtually the same, MDMA just has longer lasting euphoria.

I agree, one dose of a comparable SSRI (PAXIL) left my receptors down-regulated for over a week. Noticeably lacking magic in the serotonin department, even when supra-normal doses were used. Your first time only happens once, trust me you must wait a few more days at least. I agree with the dose comments as well, 80 mg is the absolute minimum a person of normal size and sensitivity should consider. If you don't make it high enough your night will almost be magical, but not quite. Let us know how it goes !
