we slice the bottle in half, and put it in a bucket, so we can just use it over and over very rapidly, and you kinda force the smoke to shoot down your throat.

Didn't register this statement the first time i read it, but it is true, you need to grind your herb before you vape it.
i think it is between 80-90%, is the amount of THC content that develops inside of the buds, so the better you can grind it, the more you are gonna get out of it

i have only ever seen people who throw nugs in vaporizers get slapped, and im not kidding either, a kid got backhanded at a party for being too drunk and doing that shit with the volcano.

its not being dissolved yo, i dont think exposing the inside surface area of THC will have an effect on vaping. the entire nug is getting heated and the THC essentially extracted from all parts of it. anyway my friend has a vape that gives instructions not to grind it. but fuck it im pretty sure you get high either way, i know we do ;)
 
Nothing is being dissolved, its just the majority of the THC needs to have airflow, and be able to reach the temperature of 370, something around there.

Well think of it like this, take a fruit and put it in the oven, its gonna take a long time for the inside of that fruit to reach the same temperature as the oven.
its the same idea, if your were to slice up that fruit and expose the inside, it would heat up a lot faster and more efficiently.

if you dont believe me, a good way to tell is if you pack the nug in a bong and rip it up, if you dont get any higher, than you are correct.

i have tried this method and that's how i realized grinding works best.
 
yeah id agree with Bubbles on that one. Less surface area so faster thermal transfer or something along those lines I guess.

Im not a scientist though
 
getting myself a headchef 50mm metal grinder with a bit to catch the ground up weed and then a bit underneath that to catch the kief

anyone got any experience with one of these? i'd like to know how likely it is to break or whether it's shit before i buy it cus it's under £20

i bought a grinder the other day , and theyre actually really good i always underestimated them until i read the thread and decided to buy one . i bought one when i bought my new bong which now i see a good bong really is so much better than a good home made bong haha . my favourite part of the grinder is the part that catches the dust under the mesh , and it chops it out nicely but not fine enough to not use scissors to make it nice and fine , but ill probably buy a better one .

Me and my partner do this when we are low on weed, GOSH it gets you HIGH as.
 
I didn't notice anyone mention it, but LIGHTERS please.

Do you ever find yourself with six lighters scattered all over, and they are all fail?

Going to the Circle K for lighters at 4 a.m. is just dumb.

Here I go.
 
If I run out of lighters I light a candle and grab a bunch of toothpicks to use as makeshift matches. Not the most effecient way but it works
 
What I've found is that if you take off the screen of your grinder (the kieff catcher), hold a lighter 2-3 inches underneath, and inhale what your vaporizing (by mouth or with some type of tube). You get stoned, and clean your keiff catcher. It does turn it black so dont do it if you want it to stay pretty looking but I would always clean mine thoroughly afterwards anyway.
 
I thought I'd say hello, Hello! with my first post on bluelight on this thread.. I've been a smoker for nearly 18 years now.. with some breaks maybe up to a year max inbetween. Only really used bongs at parties and with mates but I'm more a lone smoker now. I now use a vape and this is my main tool it makes your stuff last and you can increment your dosage also use a great grinder with kief catcher bought a while ago on camden lock when the markets were better. I have got a portable vape and silver leaf pipe, the portable vape is great in the car and buzz is euphoric I find off the portable. Haha BIC to flick, :)
