waking life if you mean in terms of movies to watch when you're stoned and *in* high school...probably dazed and confused if you mean about *being* stoned and in high school. linklater rawks man!

Although weed was never smoked in this movie, if you want to count the surfer guys talking like stoners then you might as well add BILL & TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE to the list.
 
dazed is the top.... but fast times was also great.
while dazed has great quotable lines fast times has jeff spicolli and really bad 80's music (and i dont mean in the funny id actually listen to that bad way) fast times went as far as putting in a little bit of a moral and ending with some poetic justice for hamilton, now that just spells classic ;)
 
definitely dazed and confused... my friends and i were obesessed w/ that movie... we each had a character and we would watch it, saying our lines along w/ our character. yeah, we were stoner dorks.
 
there is a message there, true.... just not quite as in your face as the wait for it/abortion line of fast times, and the warning of the stoner... oh and of course the moral of the nice guy gets the girl
 
Well The Big Lebowski isn't a high school stoner movie so i may as well add HOMEGROWN....
Excellent movie, great cast and direction.......Billy Bob Thornton, Ryan Phillipe and jon bon jovi as a drug dealer!
 
^^ my bad, I saw 'stoner flicks' and immediately thought of that one. PCU was going to be my next pick actually.
Homegrown was kinda boring in my opinion, but that's just me. I guess if I smoked pot I would probably enjoy it more, seeing all those truckloads of cannabis.
