Hi I quit kratom a month ago now and im finding my stomach is still extremely screwed up. Acid reflux so bad its causing anxiety/nausea, diaorrhea and a stomach so irritated/bloated it looks even bigger than it did when I was clogged up on kratom(its not fat I am really skinny now and still havent gained my appetite back completely).

Im wondering if any of you guys found success with anything to restore your stomach back to normal after quitting? I dont really want to use PPI drugs because of the side effects. Also wondering how long people used and how long recovery took?

Hey, I was wondering if you had success with your coming off kratom? I am on Day 8 of withdrawal and feeling heavy depression and hopelessness. My stomach is not that bad but I have been taking loperamide occasionally.

Hi yeah I did and the depression/anxiety is the worst part unfortunately. I dont know what dose you of been taking but loperamide at 20-30mg seemed to help with not just my physical symptoms (like low dose loperamide) but some of the depression (although dont dose it too high because its dangerous). You can build a physical dependance to loperamide though so I wouldnt do this for more than a few days. Also If you are at the point you have some energy try and stay active/do light exercise as that helps allot aswell.

You should be near the end of the really bad part now so stay optimistic and good luck.

I am on Day 10 now and it seems like the worst is behind me. Day 8 was the worst day for me, just severe depression and hopelessness. I'll make it!

I also think how you eat during this time is very important. I've been starting every day with a banana. Stuff that is easy on your stomach and of course eggs, fish, lentils, quinoa, beets, etc. are super good. Beets are a precursor for dopamine. Taking care of yourself is the key to quitting that crap.

Yeah also i noticed i seemed to randomly get adrenaline surges and sweating even weeks later so makes sure you're eating enough and not letting your blood sugar drop. Plus if you are like me then while you were taking kratom you probably underate allot so your body is starving for nutrition.
