Stimulants and heart problems

So I know someone who uses stimulants adderal, ephedrine, caffeine and energy drinks to help her study (not to get high) but she has noticed her heart seems to be beating harder and faster even when she is not on anything. Also she notices she feels cold much more often.

Is this normal?

Ephedrine seems far worse for blood pressure/heart rate than normal doses of other stimulants like amphetamine. Best advice: don't combine with other stimulants, drink plenty of water, stay cool and eat frequently.

Combining stimulants is not by any means safe. I hope OP was not implying that someone combines all those

The palpitations or the faster heart rate when not under the influence of stimulants can be attributed to anxiety from the comedown.
