stimulant tolerance?

I'm 36 years old. back in the day, I would do the same amount of meth as everyone else. and everyone else would be climbing the walls, but not me. I might be talking a lot. that would be it. now I have tried ice. it doesn't matter how much I do, sometimes I might get a little stimulation, and then it's gone, or instantly I will get sleepy with weak and achey muscles. the only way it keeps me up is if I allow it to, and it does not affect my appetite at all. I only smoke it or snort it. Is there anything I can do to make it work better, or am i just defective
