I would like to post this in Advanced Drug Discussion but i felt i should put it here first.
I have been pescribed several ADHD/Anxiety medications over the past year and a half.
Adderal has helped me immensely with impulse control, focus and retention of information (especailly auditory input, an area in which i severely lack). However after 3-5 days of perscribed usage i become an emotional rollercoaster (like the ones for kids at amusement parks).
Desoxyn has helped me in a way i cant completely identify, its like i am free'd from my own impusivity, also my mental cognition is better, but the only downside is that i have absolutely NO motivation to do anything other then play Call Of Duty: Black Ops all of the time (granted that between 12a-4a im playing videogames until the stimulant induced insomnia fades away).
Ritalin is the last ADHD medication i was introduced to from not having months of experience with it, i have made only few observations. I feel more sociable in the first few hours of ingestion.
After the peak level of the medications in my system i tend to become more anxious and fear social situations (specifically classrooms) and often interacting with my family.
I am also prescribed anti-anxiety medications which "work" to ease the comedown, i do not want to become reliant/addicted to benzo's so i do my best to avoid taking them often.
I believe that a tailored diet and regiment supplements would increase the effectiveness of these medications while decreasing their unpleasant side effects.
I am asking YOU bluelighters, through your own personal experience or knowledge to help me get my shit back together.
I have TONS of different vitamins and supplements but i dont know what to take when to take them for fear of nullifying or possible dangerous side effects..
