Stimulant Medciations activate Sypathetic Nervous System?

Would you say ADD stimulant meds may activate the sympathetic nervous system? I find many of their functions are activated when I take my dose of Dexedrine.

Does it suppress our parasympathetic nervous system making us less hungry because it slows digestion?

though I think the suppression of hunger during digestion has a lot to do with the glucagon incretin effect.

Indeed. This question actually doesn't belong in ADD, as it is a very basic, indeed foundational effect of stimulants.

We just talked about this effect in one of my classes. I'm studying neuropsychology, and that's almost exactly what the professor said. We were also discussing the affect of a strict diet on children and adults with ADD and autism. It's crazy how much it can help. *snip*
