Stilnox recreational use / dosage?

ahh, thanks. stilnox is not my thing anyway, got some from a friend and did it for the hell of it while i was bored on rainy days. i don't know how it can be prescribed as a source for sleep aid cause it certaintly did not make me feel tired, rather strange though. anywho

i didnt like the effects for sleep by itself or with other drugs. stupidly mixed a few tabs with a bit of temazepam and tramadol while smoking weed and drinking some alcohol. dad thought i was on acid, mumbling shit and walking around doing weird shit.
 
i jsut read this entire merged thread, and loved every post of it.

Stilnox is now on my list of things to try before I die :D

Sorry it sounds a bit bad, I didnt mean my drug intrests to appear so... reckless.

I want the experience under my belt so I can say Ive been there and Ive learnt from it: and for some drugs, especially ecstasy and LSD, say that its made me a better person.

I can see myself using stilnox once and not getting into it again, especially if my experience would be similar to any of the stories above. I certainly wouldnt plan to use amnesia causing levels and probably have a sitter to prevent me doing anything *too* crazy.

if you wanna read an account of it when i mixed stilnoxxes with other OTC anti histam,ine-like sleeping meds to try and sleep after having shitty speedy pills... click here and read the "user report"

its not like acid at all, shit you see is just real.. sometimes u forget your even on the drug.


i never had sleep walking problems with stilnox, only blow out doses of G.
where i'd remember falling over and trying to regain my balance, then the next milisecond im in a different room with a bunch of food mess around me, and i "wake up" even though its an instant change., and i think im still falling in my kitchen..

most i ever had when using stilnox properly, or even with some (READ: one or two) drinks to make sure i did sleep.., was waking up during sleep and seeiong a bunch of people in my room, dead or alive people, talking and colours all over the place swirling before i just went "eh" and went back to sleep after 5 seconds! i actually found this happened less if u had a drink or two with the stilnox, and made sure it was on an empty stomach.

i can tell you first hand why not to mix lots of booze, benzos and stilnox... you'll embarass the hell out of yourself or get arrested. seriously.. waking up sleep walking in a neighbours yard with a knife isnt fun....

stilnox is not fun, if u can remember what happened to you while you were on it, it might be fun.
but usually i find people tell you what you did while you were on stilnox, like a really bad alcohol blackout. The best way i can describe it is as sleepwalking while you are awake, sleepwalking because u remember none of it, and awake because for some reason you intentionally keep yourself awake.
personally i had one experience where i called my friend to help me get people out of my bedroom, that friend came over and saw that nobody was in my bedroom. he then took me to hospital thinking i was having psychosis, that was heaps of fun....
 
nah stilnox is sweet hehe, gives u a pick up if want or puts you out if you get in bed:)

tried both at the same time the other day, took a stilnox with no intention of going to sleep while watching the cricket in bed. Next thing I know Im wide awake eyes open watching the action and started snoring I was like WTF

Thats what i think too. I used it for about 2-3 months straight. Every single night.

I could feel the effects before I went to bed...had a grin on my face before i hit the sack as I turn off the lights. But I think half of that was because I knew AT LAST I was going to get some damn sleep!

I found it was an almost dream like state before I actually fell asleep. Therein lies the potential for abuse.

I too had a beer or two, once or twice after taking it. To be honest...I really, REALLY wanted to be able to sleep again so i wasn't about to fuck it up.
 
i just love the fact you dose on stilnox.. watch some shit on your computer or tv for like 15 minutes, and then half way thru an episode turn over and you're asleep by the time its over...
 
I had a crazy experience on Stillnox...

Early last year my best friend hadn't slept in 3 days due to emotional issues and went to a doctor who prescribed it and warned of the bad press it has had. She called me the second she got out (mind you she doesn't do illicit drugs, only on very rare and special occasions) and she asked me to look it up.

We both got really excited after reading about the sleepwalking and unusual effects it has on some. So anyway, I went to her place that night and crushed 2 of them and proceeded to snort them...she had one pill...next thing i remember I was naked in her shower trying to turn the water off. I then walked around the house naked...and (the rest is what she has told me) then we went to the living room and i started using my laptop and watched porn and she went into her room to play piano. I started laughing hysterically - she asked what i was laughing at and i insisted in a dead serious tone that there are gremlins in the walls to entertain us if we're bored or lonely...

wtf? Gremlins? Oh and I don't remember taking more than 2, but i snorted 7 that night according to the emptied packaging.

It's a pretty awesome drug though, I'd love to have a prescription so i can sleep after a binge on the shabs

seriously reckless if you say you knew its unpredictable effects, but yeh I know it causes that type of loss of control and amnesia but still people dont do that shit imo lol

I love the stilnox but treat it with some respect atleast initially, a person in my circle of friends has fallen off a balcony and died after going silly on it

IMO it is more like a pot type of drug and should be taken like that, what I mean by that is how you have a joint or a bong chill and can be quite functional rather than it being a complete fuckout experience like lsd or heroin cause you simply arent going to remember what you have done and it is more than likely going to be completely stupid and embarrassing and potentially dangerous

just my opinion not just aimed at you above dude and reading over it I sound a bit like a prude :( and I guess similar shit applies to all drugs so meh just my 2c

I took out the pill I wanted for the nights sleep and got my house mate to hide the box so that I would avoid this.
 
I've heard of people taking it but not going to sleep right away and carrying on conversations with people and the like, but not remembering it a bit!

Also, absolutely no tiredness for me when I was scripted it.
 
Jesus fucking christ.

I had a big night last night. Lots of dexxies, booze, liquid xtc shit, and some other stuff. Ended up getting home at like 6am, still pingin' off my tits. So I dropped two Stilnox.

All I remember is one of the chicks I was talking to in msn had this wolf face as the chat background, I spent most of the night talking to that and trying to convince it to take me on more "rides".

Each time it would take me on a ride, my seat and desk would sink through the ground and wall and go on a rollercoaster ride around my house. Then return back at the place it was before.

I don't know HOW the fuck that works but that's what I was doing. All the people in pictures came to life too. I had that chick from transformers on my desktop smiling at me and talking to me and shit, I actually remember trying to pull her from my monitor.
