I am sitting here writing this on a Monday night, and I'm still suffering from a big night out on Saturday. So I'm in need of some help.
The problem is the comedowns I get from taking pills and or speed. For atleast the next 2-3 days my stomach is a real mess. I constantly feel nausea and my stomach feels tight and uncomfortable. I don't feel hungry and have to force myself to eat (which usually only is a few mouthfulls of food at night)
I dont take excessive amounts of drugs. Sat night I had 1 pill and a few dexes. Yet its Monday night and I still haven't eaten properly. Just wondering if anyone could offer any suggestions ?

hey smilie,
I'm no expert on post-partying nutrition, but here are a couple of things that i do.
*take a couple of multivitamins (broad spectrum) in the morning.
*Eat lightly...fruit, maybe some yoghurt, drink lots of water, to flush your kidneys.
try some saladas or something as well...no butter, maybe a little vegemite.
* steam some vegies for dinner, with some lemon juice and seasoned to taste.
* i don't like eating heavy foods the day after such as meat, mashed potato, greasy foods, etc.
* Eat bananas as they are rich in l-tryptophan.
*if you can handle it, try a small glass of warm milk: same reason as the bananas..but it must be heated as the heat is what releases the tryptophan.
hope this helps and don't worry, your tummy will feel better soon

Sorry to hear your feeling not so well

I usually only feel physically awful for a day at most, after that just emotionally dodgy, but i know what you mean about the stomach thing, you can't eat, but you know it really will make you feel better . . .
I find that eating non-acidic fruits really settles the stomach and is usually all i can eat anyway, something i really got in to this summer was frozen green grapes (seedless), seriously try these, they're like little fruity ice blocks, really nice, and easy to nibble on

Apart from that there's not much else you can do but wait for your body to recuperate in it's own time. However if the nausea is really affecting you and is a regular occurance, go to your gp and get a script for anti-nausea tablets, they're tiny and if you pop a couple say just as you feel yourself coming down, they'll prevent the nausea from occurring, and they work for about 6-8 hours (actually i think the ones i have are extra strong - must look up the name for you

).
Hope this helps and you feel better soon

My case is totally opposite.... i have really bad come ups! ever since i had food poisoning, everytime i pill, i have to throw up everything before the E kicks in... (and i mean as soon as i throw up i feel it)... it is so weird cos it never happened before, and it's been going on for like 3 months now...

Hey smilie, I also used to get a crappy stomach [and still do sometimes], so I always take the following:
vit b [helps stomach lining]
mylanta/quickeze throughout roll
stemetil [which settles your stomach so you can force urself to eat]
I think if you don't take speed you might find your stomach isn't as bad

i know how you feel
the past few months i have been throwing up lately usually before i go out or when i get up the next day after drinking or pilling.
i couldn't eat really anything on weekends but my doctor gave me tablets called Tazac.
these open up your respitory system and will make you feel better.
you will probably need a prescription but the doc will give them to you no worries

think for yourself
question authority
throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we don't know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. to think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness, chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself

Ok I have a few things to add..
1. what are you guys saying to your doctors, I a taking drugs and they make me feel sick for the next few days can I have some more drugs to combat that...?
2.I was with some guys on friday morning and doing the comedown thing at his place, someone was in the kitchen and found multivitamins and threw them on the table. Considering we all felt like our bodies were unhealthy the guys decided to take two each, three of them took them. Two out of the three threw up about 5 mins following, said that kep re-tasting the vitamins. Everyone is different but I have met many people who try to eat or take vitamins too soon after a pill and it's just such a waste.
3.I don't eat till I am ready, if that means that I don't eat till monday night from a saturday pill then that's what I do, I know it's not good for your body (neither is the pill and we still do that)but I drink water like it's going out of fashion and drink a fair bit of tea.. If I am feeling like I should eat something, bread, vitawheat biscuits, chicken breast plain (cooked of course) i never eat anything too complicated and if I find I take one mouthfull and feel yucky I just get rid of the rest..
As long as you drink lots of water then your body might be better off not eating at all, remember we do things like the forty hour famine and when we are sick we don't eat.. Im not trying to encourage this among all pillpoppers but if you really cant keep the food down then don't bother, just drink water..
that's ust my view on it.

Hey smiley^,
I have been getting some really bad stomach aches with nausea lasting the next day till sleep, constantly feeling as though you are going to throw up and nothing seems to work.
Until now..........well sort of, i just try to coat my stomach with full cream (or lite white if you are watching your figure :p ) milk and if i can have something along the lines of mushy breakfast cereal, like weetbix and heaps of milo or coco-pops that have had time to soak up the milk.
Also i try to steer clear of all things acidic, such as any soft drinks. I also found that all the saliva that is swallowed during chewing of gum or sucking of lollypops tends to stuff around with the pH balance in the stomach much the same way as stomach ulcers are created.
If totally desparate i have some of my dad's zantac which is used to relieve stomach ulcer pain and is quite effective. Chronic stomach ulcers are much the same as you have described except that the feeling comes pretty consistently throughout your adult life - not a very nice experience.

Yes... Look for stuff with neuteral or slightly basic Ph. Milk is good (despite how disgusting it may appear) for settling the stomach. Soy milk is even better...
It is the loads of water on an empty stomach that seems to cause the worst stomach upsets, you probably should nibble a few things during your roll.

The woods are dark and deep, and you have miles to go before you sleep...

i find eating before you go to bed, does the trick light food, multivitamins and a fresh banna smoothie, while rolling definately quick eze, then 3 beers and bed the following night

"ill never try an E" quote from me june1999(and i didn't untill about 40 pills later)

Milk and bananas (lots of em) do the trick for me... and of course water. Strangely, a few weak coffees during the days after a taxing weekend or whatever, seems to help me also.

Sustagen Sport.... full of amino acids, minerals and vitamins...and that most important of all amino acides..L tryptophan..
but it has to be the Sport variety

Just thought i would suggest sustagen as well, was rifling through my gran's cupboards (a ready supply of sleeping pills and laxatives) and i came across hospital formula vanilla flavour sustagen (i really hope it comes in chocolate!!). Upon reading the breakdown of components, it had something like 23% protein, 68% carbohydrates and large percentages of rdi for a majority of the vitamins and minerals (the list was about 20 items long)
I think i have found my comedown drink - high pH, lots of carbos and proteins and all those vitamins and minerals that have been drained after a big night out. Although the hospital formula bit sounds a dodgy

I find that eating an apple during the roll is great!
They are not only really easy on the stomache, lite to eat, full of good healthy stuff but taste really really fantastic when e'n. I find I generally feel better the next day also.
Find the crispest freshest ones you can.
