As stated in the title I dropped 5 1/2 confirmed MDMA pills (spaced out over 7 hours) last Saturday night and had the time of my life. Of course, the comedown was terrible to deal with but I was fine for a few days afterwards until the post-roll depression kicked in.

After the first night of recovery I was hallucinating that my computer cables were crawling towards me, however after blinking or flashing a light on said cables it all returned to normal. (it was very hard to concentrate on anything without hallucinating - my vision was semi-blurry but there was a certain amount of clarity to know that I was still wide awake and not dreaming.) This continued on for some days until today, where the hallucinations have calmed down and the general scat and depressed feeling has passed..however, I was still able to see tiny wisps of smoke coming off my fingertips if I concentrated on them long enough.

Imagine there are tiny, millimeter in diameter holes in the middle of each fingertip, you cant see the holes but it looks like a tiny tiny gas leak followed by wisps of smoke that are impossible to concentrate on without making them disappear

I'm freaking out because it has been a week since the roll and the hallucinations are beginning to annoy the fuck out of me

what the fuck should I do!

First, we don't SWIM here. Edit your post as it violates the BLUA.

Second, lay off all drugs, especially psychedelics like MDMA and Cannabis.

I'm confused though; You say you get these wisps of smoke coming off your fingers if you concentrate on them, but later on you say that concentrating on them makes them disappear.

First thing to be aware of is that this is not very likely at all to be caused by MDMA. It just doesn't do that. I don't know what does but E doesn't.

Apologies for swimming.

And yeah It's very hard to explain, it sort of feels like I'm seeing the wisps of smoke out of the corner of my eye..sort of peripheral but not, it's very hard to explain.

There's also a faint misty aura around my fingertips, like the surface area has been coloured in with a transparent grayish/white mist. (this only happens when i stare at my fingers, followed by the smoke i can't seem to LOOK at without them disappearing)

You took 5 1/2 pills of MDMA + who knows what.

Chances are, whatever your problems and whatever chemical is causing them, they will go away after a bit more waiting. Try not to focus on them and just get on with your life. Eat healthy, do exercise, take some vits and get plenty of sleep. Don't take any more drugs of any kind including alcohol. As long as things don't get worse they'll get better. if they get worse, go see a doctor.

Don't do it again.

Get more sleep, maybe consider a multivitamin, and/or brain supplements and nootropics. Some of them seem to cause improvement in vision.

You probably do not grasp the power your mind has in being able to manifest things into your field of vision if you look hard enough.. Cases of HPPD fuel themselves, you fall into a pattern of checking your state of reality to see if your having hallucinations and all your doing is pushing your brain towards actually hallucinating.. the standard treatment is to try to ignore it, and benzos so you stop worrying about it. Worst case scenario would be doctors giving you anti psychotics, most of them tend to be pretty nasty as far as side effects.

Meditate. Calm yourself. You are in control of your mind. Do not force yourself to be normal again. The more you worry, the more strain is caused on your brain. The more strain, the less likely you are to feel better.

Relax. Take things easy. Exercise. "Win" your body over again. You will be fine.

If you apply yourself and you still get these hallucinations, I suggest you see a doctor. If you can't see a doctor, I suggest you tell someone who can help you.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I have been exercising regularly, eating more healthily and taking some vitamin supps, the effects seem to be wearing off as each day goes by.

If I end up going psychotic I'll be sure to let you guys know ;)

^Perfect. Do exactly that and you'll be fine in no time :)
