Steroids in OTC Creatine?

So I have been taking Creatine for about 2.5 months now, no cycling, 5 grams p/day, 5-6 out of 7 days a week in the gym for at least an hour, usually an hour and a half to two hours. I know I am not supposed to, but every time I go to the gym, I lift heavy and often to my limits.

What I am wondering is, any chance this stuff has a little steroids, or something like that in it? Before I started going to the gym I was 6'0 and ~ 165 lbs. Now I am about 200 lbs., eat like a horse, horny as hell, and punch walls if my food isn't cooked right. Not that I am complaining, but is this normal?

35 pounds in 2.5 months is a lot of weight to gain. It's probably mostly water and fat, but I wouldn't be able to tell you for sure. There is no way that there are any steroids in your creatine, and there's nothing wrong with lifting heavy. How have your bench max and squat max gone up over this time period? Also, how old are you? It would be a lot easier for me to see a 16-19 year old male gaining that much weight that fast than a 40 year old, that is if it's mostly muscle.

When I was in high school, I was an offensive lineman in football, and a 1st baseman in baseball.

After football, I would lose 40 lbs for baseball, then after baseball I would gain 40 lbs for football. For my football training, I would use creatine and protein supplements to help with my training goals, along with a strict diet.

My proper programs and diet, along with the supplements helped a great deal with the weight gain.

So its not exactly typical, but the diet will go a long way with weight training.

I hope you know that by max out lifting every day you will hit a plateau and not gain more weight or get any stronger, so please get on a good lifting program.

I find that If I don't max out, I hit a plateau. I don't max out every day on the same lift, but every week, or every couple of weeks, I try to add some weight to my max.

The thing is, I am in Europe, and some of the guys at the gym have told me some makers of OTC Creatine throw in steroids (I use this term loosely because I don't know much about this stuff, but something along those lines) in the packs.

I am 22. I haven't tried maxing out on the bench, but I everyday I hit 65KG 10 times no problems, usually 5 or 6 times, then move up to 75KG 4-8 times, about 3 or 4 times. I could probably max ~ 90 or 95 KG. I don't squat. I also don't work out leg muscles, because I competed riding bikes for years and can max out on every leg machine and frankly don't want them getting any bigger. I started out being able to curl about 20KG max once, now I can curl about 85KG max. I don't eat excessively, in fact, I eat pretty badly, nice fatty, good foods, lots of Doritos, shit like that.

Actually I think I might have gained a little more weight than 35 lbs, and it definitely isn't water weight, my arms and chest arm 10 times bigger. I think it is about 40 lbs. Anyways, is this normal for just Creatine? My pops is a pretty big guy, he played minor league ball, always said I had the frame to become big.

How much do you weigh? I say your getting fat. Get some skin calipers and check your body fat. I also find it really weird that your max bench is 95kg and you say your max curl is 85kg, There is no way in hell that I could curl anything close to my max on a bench, I probably couldn't even curl half of my max on a bench. Your arms must look pretty inproportionate to the rest of your body. Also, neglecting your lower body will only hinder your upper body gains. Start doing squats and deadlifts.

yes because thats how they make money, by making their product significantly more expensive to produce.

your very own balls make your steroids for you

just keep lifting hard and eating like a horse and your test levels will sky rocket
