tonight i found
when once we came
sterling slippers
on the brightest star

no love, no life
at once you find
what beats from yonder

did you have to look hard?

not near, not far
so much to ponder
it's scary but nice

isn't life a wonder?

vanish anew
what once was lost

will never be
pettily thrown asunder

I like this poem a lot. I can't honestly say I catch the theme but it has a good flow to it and it feels sincere.

i also like it--the metaphors are brilliant!

unless im totally mistaken (hehe a bit "out of it" right now), this is an example of a good love poem.
