It depends on how long... for a short period it should remain potable, just like it would without the alcohol, yet maybe marginally longer. How long varies depending on the type of contaminations and how optimal the conditions are for them.
To be sure I would approach your solution as if it were non-alcoholic (not sure why you would put 2% in??).
Put the solution in a clear bottle or container if it isn't already in a transparant one... let it sit overnight without any movement. Then next day gently swirl it and look at the bottom if any kind of precipitated material moves. If there is nothing visible, plus it smells fine, and it hasn't been all that long, you are probably okay.
If there is precipitant in it, that means nasty shit has been growing in it - which you could try filtering with a glass microfiber filter for example, but if you are very unlucky and those germs produced toxins, they might be already dissolved in the water. I have no estimate on the kind of chance of that happening, nor am I sure about further factors of safety involved.
I had DOB in solution once that turned sour because I didn't put any alcohol in it... considered doing a work-up to salvage it but finally I just let that mother be.
