staying healthy whilst been a drug user.

^ This is something I actually want to look into. Aspirin reduces the ability of platelets to aggregate, so it reduces the risk of ischemic heart attacks and strokes that have clots as their cause. I think many of the problems associated with stimulant use come from a combination of increased blood pressure and vasoconstriction (veins, arteries constricting) and that this can lead to strain on the heart, reduced oxygen flow to the heart and increased risk of hemorrhagic stroke which is different to an ischemic stroke.

I've just done a little bit of cursory searching and it seems as though stimulants such as amphetamine, cocaine and phenylpropanolamine increase the risk of hemorrhagic strokes which would not be prevented by aspirin and in fact be worsened as aspirin would prevent the blood clotting to stop the bleed. I will do a bit more research into this, but probably your best bet is being in good physical health in the first place. :)

ETA: Also, as Divine Moments quite rightfully pointed out, what I am doing is not medically condoned and carries risks, and I would not recommend it to someone else as quite probably the risks could outweigh the potential benefits for many people, especially if you are otherwise healthy and at a younger age.

Busty: You are a funny guy. :D

^ What he said ;)

If you're actually worried about your cardiovascular health doing any one out of increasing exercise, improving diet, or quitting smoking (if you smoke) will do far more good than any drug can.

^ Ha ha ha. :)

As an example of a negative side effect of aspirin, I bumped my arm on the weekend it seems but not too badly, and now I've got a large, sore bruise that's developed since Sunday.
