Stay away from those Bath Salts!

So I'm told. My mate, who has a huge interest in this whole zombie thing, told me the results were out. I'm on my phone, but I'll find a link.

Tox reports are back. NO 'baths salts' found. Just weed. I wonder what will happen now - first the pylon girl, now this. The weird thing is, the guy sounded like a normal bloke. There was an interview with his family and he sounded decent. So, can weed do this to a person? I suppose if they're right on the edge of doing it, but from thin air? Reefer madness, indeed.

Not sure this is 100% on the button, but dont they say that weed can induce underlying psychotic problems?

All bath salts safely disposed of. Strictly showers in my household now just to make sure no one gets tempted to use bath salts.
Satans products.

Treac, your posts in this thread are of A* quality (as in the newish GCE grade). You appear to have found your niche. Which appears to be to do with zombies and face-eating. Your life has not been wasted (or eaten).

Applause.

I'm not sure if this is an insult, or not. ;) Either way - cheers, mate. Nice to be noticed. :)

I think folk are maybe jumping on the weed thing a bit too much here. Just because the guy had weed in his system doesn't mean it had anything to do with him losing the heid. I'm not saying that it definitely didn't but people seem to be thinking "He smoked weed = weed caused it somehow" which I don't think we can assume.

I mean, if the guy had a beer that morning he would have alcohol in his system. Would anyone be saying that booze caused it?

I think it's safe to say that something fucked up in this guy's head was the main cause. Weed may have helped trigger it but in my opinion if smoking a joint is going to make you flip it like that then you were going to flip it eventually anyway.

The interview with his family said that he was a heavy weed smoker. The link I posted said he was a bit on the violent side. It's not out of the realms of possibility that weed made an underlying condition worse (or, in this case, made the guy want to taste human flesh). Weed definitely triggered my anxiety, but I truly believe it was there, already. It's a one in a million chance, but it is possible. It doesn't matter - he WAS mental, weed or not.

He was religious, smoked weed, black, and I am to understand he had oxygen in his brain at the time. He may have also been a little bit schizophrenic. It is a great shame that the one thing he did not have, was appropriate treatment.
