I thought some of you might be interested in checking out the state-by-state drug trend reports that have just been released.

For example, the Victoria report finds that:
The key finding in Victoria in 2011 is that despite the percentage of regular ecstasy users (REU) reporting that ecstasy was difficult or very difficult to source being comparable to 2010 and 2009 (23%, 27% and 19% respectively), this figure was still significantly greater than that reported in 2008 (3% ). Furthermore, purity levels obtained from the Victorian Police Forensic Services Department indicated a continued decline in the purity of ecstasy seized during the 2010/2011 financial year (15% ) compared with 2009/2010 (19% ) and 2008/2009 (25% ).

I'd be interested to hear whether these reports match with your experiences in your particular jurisdiction.

Haha those figures don't really surprise me. I would say it generally isn't quite as bad outside Victoria but still poorer overall quality of pills than 5+ years ago.

Just moved to Brisbane from Nz that was pretty interesting to read. Everything's a lot cheaper here and the DOCs seem a bit differnt. How rare is to find RCs and ketamine, not sourcing just wanna know about availability.

it would be interesting to see the purity levels from when xtc first 'took off' in australia in the mid to late 90s to today. I would think that purity levels would have started to decrease sharply from around late 2005-early 2006 as tnat seemed to be the period when xtc started to become less popular in europe and from a personal experience it seemed around then that it became more common to find 'dirtier' E's (mdxx mixed with ketamine etc).
