starting to finally get clean..

another BLOGGGGGGGG.. and it's good, well, for me at least.. I am actually CLEAN and FEEL GOOD. well, kinda clean.. I've been on 16MG on Subox for the past week or so. It's working and working great. It's keeping me away from all other opiates and have completely crumbled my drive to use. That's great. I even enrolled in an outpatient program that will run 3 days a week and 3 hours a day. I plan to use this Subox for the next year or so and slowly wind down over the course of a year. I TRULY FEEL GOOD AND CONFIDENT ALL WILL WORK. this is the first time I've felt this way after using for so long and I can definitely get used to this.

This blog post is more for myself.. but hey, its my blog, so who cares.. it's to keep track of my progress, or maybe even steps back.. but as of now it's progress. Let's hope my next is 2 weeks, then 3 weeks, then a month clean, etc..

That's great news. The suboxone completely changed my life, and got me off of the hard stuff. Knowing you can't use on top really removes the temptation.

dope - youre right. knowing I cant use kills the urge to use. Knowing I'd be wasting money, kills the urge to waste that money. I am actually happy.. for once! Today was another day w/ no intention to use, no urge to use, no nothing when it comes to using.. just a GOOD DAY of SOBRIETY.. well, Subox sobriety, ha.

 

Well done man your on the right track. It makes you think "straight" doesn't it. It is a drug at the end of the day...but it's not a "druggy drug" if u know what I mean. The NA lot called me a user, but I don't care-it doesn't get me high, I feel just as normal as they do

 

dopemeg - I couldnt agree more. I dont care for those who call me a "user". I dont feel a damn thing from the Sub.. it just makes me NOT SICK and able to function like I once did before I used. I am happy as hell and dont care what anyone else says.. its helping me a TON and its exactly what I needed. I am seeing a Dr. as well throughout the process and he will help me detox off but as of now I am in now rush.
