I have been reading these blogs for the last 2 weeks and they help so much. I just wanted to contribute also and maybe I can help somebody going thru the same situation. It's been the same road as most pills - dope - methadone wasted 10 years of my life. I really thought in my head that once I was on methadone that I was "clean" BC I stopped using D. I spent 1 1/2 years going to a clinic 110mg down to 70mg. Well I was wrong bc I stopped going after being detoxed to 30mg. I made a decision to get away from the liquid handcuffs and move on with my life once and for all. 17 days off methadone and I feel like a totally different person.. this is CLEAN..Feels pretty good to have feeling again and not be numb to the world.
