I'm new here but I'll be brief..I'm 29 single mom of three and I'm sick of this s***. So many things I could be doing with the kiddos and the only reason I can't is cause any extra cash i get is spent on pills!!! So I made appointment to start suboxone and while its $230 initial and $180 every two weeks (eventually changed to month) you do the math and I'm still saving money when I was spending close to $80 a day JUST to avoid withdrawal...tried to go CT and it didn't work..barely made it through 3 hours at work and I can't take off so suboxone it is..so on to my questions.. I've been doing oxycodone and Vicodin for about 5-6 years and I've never tried to quit before so what kind of therapy do you recommend along with suboxone treatment..also how long are people normally on?!?

How much were you taking a day? I know there are some very helpful guides on this site for wd's. It seems you are determined so that's a huge plus. Good luck, I know you can do it!

Suboxone enabled me to get my life back together and l am sure it will help you do the same. I always recommend maintenance to anyone who has used for an extended amount of time. We are all dealing with the same nightmare. Welcome to Blue light;). To answer your question l stayed on subs for a year.

^^like Tacoma said meetings are a big one. You can acculy be around people that understand you and stuff. Plus you can find a good sponsor that's got alot of clean time n had been through the same shit. N where is everyone at where they are paying that much for subs? I was on subs then zubsolv n I just had to pay 120 bucks to schedule the first apt. Then after that I just had to pay a copay of 25 bucks each Dr apt. And zubsolvs got a really good copay plan also where what my insurance didn't cover it covered the rest. And my script was free. Suboxone wasn't much more it was like 10 bucks for 90.
