Hi all. I will start here to introduce myself. Might as well jump in and get my feet wet. I'm not the best with sharing but at a point that I need others who have been there, done that and got the t-shirt.

I am currently off prescription pain meds (20 days) after 4 years of taking a lot. I'm almost 40. Always played around with different drugs but never had to worry until I met opiates.
I am here looking for information on what is happening with me now that the withdraw is done. I have been going though some strange stuff.

I don't share much with those around me even though the husband knows and supports me and all of our children are older there are things that I don't want to tell him.

I need raw open advice, stories and sometimes a good dose of the real world.

I'm off to explore and post.

Welcome to the site and here is a great starting point

We have a few sections that you may find helpful - Sober living would be a great place to look as there are quite a few people in that section that have the stories and advice you may be looking for.
